Goode anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Goode, of Otterville, will celebrate their 51st wedding anniversary with a private family celebration on Dec. 30.
Mary Mertgen and Charles Goode were married Dec. 17, 1960, at St. John United Church of Christ in Florence, by the Rev. A.L. Bruggeman.
Mr. Goode retired from United Parcel Co. in Sedalia. Mrs. Goode retired as postmaster for the U.S. Postal Service in Otterville.
They have three children, Karen Varvel, of Olathe, Kan., Connie LaBarbera, of Ashland, and Charla Friedmeyer, of California, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
