Larry and Maureen King, of Golconda, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Hillary King, of Golconda, to Christopher Simmons, of Sedalia. He is the son of Rodger and Julie Simmons, of Sedalia.

The future bride, a 2006 graduate of Pope County High School in Golconda, attended Greenville College in Greenville, Ill.

The future groom, a 2004 graduate of Sacred Heart High School, is working toward a degree in education at Greenville College.

A June 14 wedding is planned at First Christian Church in Greenville.
