Adam and Brittany Staus

Staus-Pritchard wedding

Brittany Staus and Adam Pritchard, both of Smithton, were married at 2 p.m. Sept. 24 at Sacred Heart Church in Sedalia.


The bride is the daughter of Fred and Sheila Staus, of Smithton. The groom is the son of Danny Pritchard, of Smithton, and Pam Stiles, of Lincoln.

The Rev. Jim Betzen conducted the ceremony. Joyce Woolery was the organist and Julie Branz was a vocalist.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Ashlee Staus, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Cerissa Seitz was the matron of honor. Chelsey Gallagher, sister of the groom, Carmen Goss, cousin of the bride, Charla Mackey and Janice Stiles, aunt of the groom, were bridesmaids. Audrie Pritchard, daughter of the groom, Callie Gallagher, niece of the groom, and Callie Goss, cousin of the bride, were flower girls. Jessica Staus, cousin of the bride, and Alexis Gasper, cousin of the groom, were candlelighters.

Grant Pritchard, brother of the groom, was the best man. Russell Oliphant, Grant Gallagher, brother-in-law of the groom, Jimmy Goss, cousin of the bride, Patrick McNeal and Ken Stiles, uncle of the groom, were groomsmen. Carter Boehm, cousin of the bride, and Brady Theisen, cousin of the groom, were ushers. Landon Pritchard, son of the groom, and Trent Gallagher, nephew of the groom, were ring bearers.

A rehearsal dinner was held by the groom’s parents Sept. 23 at the Sacred Heart Parish Center. The reception was at the Missouri Electric Cooperative Building.

The bride, a 2005 graduate of Smithton High School, received an associate of applied science degree in nursing from State Fair Community College in 2009. She is a registered nurse at Royal Oaks Hospital in Windsor.

The groom, a 2002 graduate of Smithton High School, is a plumber for Plumbing Truck One in Sedalia.

The couple honeymooned in Branson. They live in Sedalia.
