Pam and Brett Atkinson

Phillips-Atkinson wedding

Pam Phillips and Brett Atkinson, both of Sedalia, were married at 4 p.m. Oct. 1 at Smithton United Methodist Church.

The bride is the daughter of Ron and Jan Phillips, of Sedalia. The groom is the son of John and Sharon Atkinson, of Sedalia.

The Rev. Kim Boggs conducted the ceremony.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Cindy Blatterman and Kris Kreisler, sisters of the bride, were the matrons of honor. Izzy Rothen, cousin of the groom, was the flower girl.

Blake Atkinson, brother of the groom, was the best man. J.R. Walter, cousin of the groom, was a groomsman. Trenton Toler, son of the bride, was the ring bearer. Tanner Pearce and Aaron Walter, cousins of the groom, were ushers.

A rehearsal dinner was held by the groom’s parents on Sept. 30 at El Espolon in Sedalia. The reception was at the Elks Lodge.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School.

The groom, a 1998 graduate of Smithton High School, received an associate of applied science degree in building material merchandising from State Fair Community College in 2002. He is a customer service assistant at Lowe’s in Sedalia.

The couple honeymooned in Branson. They live in Sedalia.
