Lake-Berry wedding

Kendra Lake, of Sedalia, and Kevin Berry, of Lewis, Iowa, were married at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 16, 2007, at Altoona Christian Church in Altoona, Kan.

The bride is the daughter of Ken and Vicki Lake, of Sedalia. The groom is the son of Jim and Dr. Elaine Berry, of Lewis.

Chris DeWelt, professor at Ozark Christian College, conducted the ceremony. Lou Paul was the pianist. The groom was a vocalist.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Lynette Willis, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. Rhonda Berry and Teresa Berry, sisters of the groom, were bridesmaids. Tyler Willis and Kyle Willis, nephews of the bride, were guestbook attendants.

Caleb Clark was the best man. Matthew Dietz and Matthew Winch were groomsmen.

A rehearsal dinner was held by the groom’s parents on Dec. 16 in Altoon. Receptions were held at Maplewood Church in Sedalia on Dec. 22 and Central Church of Christ in Griswold, Iowa, on Dec. 29.

The bride, a 2004 graduate of Applewood Christian School, is working toward a degree in children and family ministries at Ozark Christian College. She plans to graduate in May.

The groom, a 2004 graduate of Griswold High School, is working toward a degree in biblical literature and preaching at Ozark Christian College. He plans to graduate in May.

The couple live in Joplin.
