Davis-Cornine wedding
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Laura Elizabeth Davis, of Green Ridge, and Josh Allen Cornine, of Sedalia, were married at 4:30 p.m. April 26 at First Baptist Church in Sedalia.
The bride is the daughter of Bill and Sherry Davis, of Cole Camp. The groom is the son of Gary and Honey Cornine, of Sedalia.
The Rev. Gary Patterson conducted the ceremony. Sean Eaves was a vocalist and played the guitar.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Larena Akeson, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. Sarah Arnold, cousin of the groom, Ashley Goss, Jeanna Ehlers, Stefanie Billington and Nicki Cornine, sister of the groom, were bridesmaids. Ruby Davis was the flower girl. Robi Hanna Holem and Madison May, cousins of the groom, were candlelighters. Haley Akeson, niece of the bride, was an honorary candlelighter.
Gary Cornine was the best man. Bradley Arnold, cousin of the groom, Graham Freeman, Brian Anderson, Josh Ritzo and Jesse Cornine, brother of the groom, were groomsmen. Zander Cornine, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer. Myles Davis and Norris Davis, brothers of the bride, and Bill Sutten were ushers.
A rehearsal dinner was held by the groom’s parents April 25 at Patricia’s Mexican Restaurant. The reception was at the Elks Multipurpose Building.
The bride, a 2004 graduate of Cole Camp High School, received an associate of applied science degree in dental hygiene from State Fair Community College in 2007. She is a dental hygienist in Sedalia.
The groom, a 2004 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School, is an iron worker at Coil Construction in Sedalia.
The couple honeymooned at Riviera Mayan, Mexico. They live in Green Ridge.
