Forrest Gruhn, of Lincoln, will observe his 90th birthday on Thursday.

He was born May 29, 1918, in Grinnell, Iowa.

He is a retired welder and farmer. He enjoys working on his Model T Ford.

He has three sons, David Gruhn, of Warsaw, Michael Gruhn and Fred Gruhn, both of Lincoln; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
