Guegold/Alley Wedding

Maureen Guegold, of Columbus, Ohio, and Dodd Alley, of Athens, Ohio, were married at 2 p.m. July 14 at St. Thomas More Newman Center in Columbus.

The bride is the daughter of John and Karen Guegold, of Columbus. The groom is the son of Tim and Sally Alley, of Sedalia.

The Rev. Chuck Cunniff conducted the ceremony.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Kathleen Guegold, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Kim Kliethermes, Stacy MacDonald and Elizabeth Earley, cousin of the groom, were bridesmaids. McKenna Guegold, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.

Ben Digman was the best man. Ryan Guegold, brother of the bride, Matt Lutovsky and Stephen Kruse, cousin of the groom, were groomsmen.

A rehearsal dinner was held by the groom’s parents at the Holiday Inn Worthington in Worthington, Ohio. The reception was at the Clintonville Women’s Club in Columbus.

The bride, a 1998 graduate of Parkway South High School in Manchester, received a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2002. She received a master’s degree in education from MU in 2003. She works for the Clark County School District in Las Vegas.

The groom, a 2000 graduate of Sacred Heart High School, received a bachelor of arts degree in communication from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2004. He received a master of arts degree in film studies from Ohio University in Athens this year. He works for the Clark County School District in Las Vegas.

The couple live in Las Vegas.
