Hageman-Jones engagement

Susan and Jim Van Horn and Stan Hageman, all of Sedalia, announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah A. Hageman, of Warrensburg, to Sam B. Jones. He is the son of Diana and Mike Jones, of Cole Camp.

The future bride, a 2001 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School, received a degree in elementary education from the University of Central Missouri in 2006. She received a master’s degree in administration from William Woods University in Fulton this year. She is a first-grade teacher for the Warrensburg School District.

The future groom, a 1999 graduate of Cole Camp High School, received degrees in biology and chemistry from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kan. He received a master of science degree in aquatic biology from Missouri State University in Springfield this year. He is a biology instructor at State Fair Community College.

An Aug. 8 wedding is planned at St. Patrick Church in Sedalia.
