Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Harms, of Cole Camp, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with a reception, held by their daughter, Myra Case, and her husband, Jesse, from 2 to 4 p.m. July 20 at the Lutheran School Auditorium in Cole Camp.

Lenore Gerken and Marcus Harms were married July 18, 1943, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Cole Camp, by the Rev. H. Renz.

They are lifelong residents of Cole Camp. They lived in the Cheese Creek area north of town for about four years. Then they moved to Cole Camp. Mr. Harms was a welder for Pittsburg-Corning Glass Co. in Sedalia and Mrs. Harms was a school teacher in Cole Camp.

They have daughter, Myra Case, of Pleasant Hill; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Friends and relatives are invited to the celebration. The couple request no gifts.
