Sylvia Thompson residents observe birthdays in September

Goldie Hart will observe her 98th birthday on Sept. 15.
She was born Sept. 15, 1910, in Ozark County. She was married to Albert Hart, who died earlier.
She was a housewife. She enjoys gardening.
She has two children, Joe Hart, of Sedalia, and Harlan Hart, of Georgetown, Texas; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Raymond Vineyard will observe his 88th birthday on Sept. 20.
He was born Sept. 20, 1920, in Maries City. He was married to Velma Vineyard, who died earlier.
He was a farmer. He enjoys making wooden toys, peanut brittle and caramel popcorn.
He has a daughter, Marie Vanbebber, of Sedalia; and a grandchild.

Emmett “Russell” Martin will observe his 70th birthday on Sept. 22.
He was born Sept. 22, 1938, in Idaho. He is married to Shirley Martin, who lives in Sedalia.
He worked in sales all of his life ranging from car sales, bakery sales, dairy milk, farm equipment and insurance. He was a past member of the Shrine Club and the Elks Lodge. He enjoys fishing, boating, hunting and playing golf.
He has five children, Carrie Core, of Phoenix, Terri McClelland, of San Antonio, Texas, Rusty Martin and David Martin, both of Denver, and Gerri Barnes, of Blue Springs; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Etta Washington will observe her 61st birthday on Sept. 23.
She was born Sept. 23, 1947, in Missouri. She was married to Dan Washington, who died earlier.
She owned MeMau’s Daycare. She enjoys sewing and spending time with her grandchildren.
She has three children, Glenn Walton Jr. and Tiffany Jamerson, both of Sedalia, and Uledus Roseman, of St. Paul, Minn.; and nine grandchildren.
