Gravois Mills man injured in Morgan County accident

A Gravois Mills man was injured in a highway accident Tuesday in Morgan County.

John P. Leach, 55, was driving northbound on state Route 5, just north of Route J, when he lost control of his 2000 Ford Ranger on an ice-covered road, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Leach then traveled off the left side of the road, overcorrected and left the right side of the road. His vehicle then overturned and came to rest in a ditch.

He was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, with minor injuries.
Leach was wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
