Marshall man strikes stop sign in Saline County

A Marshall man had minor injuries from a one-vehicle crash on Friday in Saline County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Jeffrey C. Shaver, 38, was southbound on state Highway 65 near Highway BB at 3:55 p.m. when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, struck a stop sign and came to rest in a ditch.
Shaver was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall by private vehicle.
He was wearing a seat belt, the report said.
