Irby graduates top of her class
Navy Fire Controllman 3rd Class Petty Officer E-4 Autumn Irby was named a distinguished honor graduate from Aegis Training and Readiness Center in Dahlgren, Va., in November. She graduated at the top of her class and trained as an Aegis computer technician.
She graduated from ballistic missile defense (BMD) training this month from Aegis Training and Readiness Center. She completed her Aegis BMD computer tech training.
She will be stationed on the USS Paul Hamilton DDG-60 in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, in January. She joined the Navy in March 2010 and was a 1996 graduate of Cole Camp High School. She graduated from State Fair Community College in 2004 and attended Central Methodist University in Fayette.
She is the daughter of Linda P. Irby, of Sedalia, and Harvey Irby, of Lawrence, Kan. She is the sister of Trina D. Irby, of Sedalia.
