Jan. 12 Police Reports

•Travis M. Bohanon, 21, of the 1600 block of East Thirteenth Street, was arrested at 1:10 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of West Third Street and South State Fair Boulevard on a charge of driving while intoxicated, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

•Robert M. Jackson, 41, of Houston, was arrested at 2:55 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of U.S. Highway 50 and Industrial Road on a charge of driving while intoxicated, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

•Janna M. Powell, 30, of the 24500 block of Oak Grove Lane, was arrested at 11:02 a.m. Sunday at her home on a charge of domestic assault, according to Pettis County Sheriff's Department reports.

•Pascual Martinez, 30, of the 22500 block of U.S. Highway 65, was arrested at 11:02 p.m. Sunday on U.S. Highway 65 north of Highway H on a charge of driving while intoxicated, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

Burglary
•An employee of Griff’s, 209 E. Broadway Blvd., reported Friday a person climbed onto the roof of the business, entered the attic and damaged a vent in an apparent attempt to enter the building, according to Sedalia Police Department reports. The suspect was unable to get inside the restaurant. A surveillance video documented the incident.

•Mark Swearingen, of Sedalia, reported Monday a home belonging to his father at 1801.5 E. Harvey Street was burglarized and a cell phone and pistol were missing, according to Sedalia Police Department reports.

Thefts
•Officers received a call about an open gate at the construction site of the new high school, 4400 S. Limit Ave., and found the main controller box and battery charger to a generator were stolen, according to Sedalia Police Department reports.

•Derek Downs, of 1218 S. Sneed Ave., reported Sunday the soft top of his vehicle was cut and bank starter checks were stolen while it was parked at his home, according to Sedalia Police Department reports.

•Bobby Privitt, of 1815 Boonville Road, reported Sunday several lawn decorations were stolen from his yard between Dec. 25 and Jan. 1, according to Pettis County Sheriff's Department reports.

Shots Fired
Officers received calls about 6 p.m. Sunday about shots fired near the area of 300 East Johnson Street, but were unable to find any leads, according to Sedalia Police Department reports.
