Rachel Cooper and Ernie Keele, both of Sedalia, were married at 5 p.m. Oct. 10, 2009, at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Sedalia.

The bride is the daughter of Charlotte Cooper, of Sedalia. The groom is the son of Roy Keele and Joyce Keele, both of Sedalia.

The Rev. Brady Abel conducted the ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her nephew, Andrew Wallace.
Bridget Mack was the matron of honor. Michelle Cooper and Rebecca Wallace, sisters of the bride, and Regina Uptegrove were bridesmaids.

Mike Uptegrove was the best man. Chet Myers, Rick Keele, brother of the groom, and Tim Sutterby were groomsmen. Billy Keele and Barry Keele, sons of the groom, were ushers.

A rehearsal dinner was held by the bride and groom on Oct. 9 at Napoli’s Italian Restaurant. The reception was at the Hotel Bothwell.

The bride, a 1996 graduate of Green Ridge High school, received a degree in early childhood development from State Fair Community College in 2005. She is an owner and director of Katy Trail Children’s Center in Sedalia.

The groom, a 1972 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School, is an owner and developer of Keele Construction Co. Inc. in Sedalia.

The couple honeymooned in Lake Tahoe and Reno, Nev. They live in Sedalia.
