Rachel and Ernie Keele, of Sedalia, became the parents of a son, Ernest Dean Jr., born Jan. 16, 2012, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. He weighed 9 pounds, 4 ounces. The maternal grandmother is Charlotte Cooper, of Sedalia. The maternal great-grandmother is Ruth Bay, of Windsor. The paternal grandmother is Joyce Keele, of Sedalia. The paternal grandfather and stepgrandmother are Roy and JoAnn Keele, of Sedalia.
