Kempton joins Sedalia law firm

Brody Kempton has joined Kempton & Russell in Sedalia as an associate; he will practice primarily in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice and criminal defense.

Kempton earned his juris doctor from the University of Missouri School of Law this year, where he received a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution, participated in the Elwood L. Thomas Inn of Court, and was awarded the CALI Award for Excellence in Appellate Advocacy. He is a 2004 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School.

Kempton & Russell, at 114 E. Fifth St., has represented clients throughout Missouri for more than 50 years.
