Kirkpatrick anniversary

Dr. and Mrs. Chester Kirkpatrick, of Sedalia, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a dinner, held by their children, on Jan. 15 at Best Western State Fair Inn.
Dorothy Towner and Chester Kirkpatrick were married June 18, 1952, at First Baptist Church in Sedalia, by the Rev. Dr. Thomas Croxton.
Dr. Kirkpatrick was an optometrist for 37 years in Sedalia. He retired in 1987. Mrs. Kirkpatrick worked at Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. for eight years.
They have three children, Dr. Glen Kirkpatrick, of Parkville, Karla Foster, of Jefferson City, and Don Kirkpatrick, of Leawood, Kan.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
