Lathrop Friendship Festival offers a variety of family activities

LATHROP — The 45th annual Lathrop Friendship Festival will be Wednesday to Aug. 1.
The registration for all contests is due by 5 p.m. Tuesday. Activities planned are as follows:

Wednesday
2 p.m., 10-point pitch tournament, Lathrop Community Center, 406 Elm St.
6:30 p.m., Opening ceremonies, Donnie Quinn, master of ceremonies

7:30 p.m., Awards ceremony

July 30

8 a.m., City-wide garage sales.
10 a.m. to noon, “A Morning in the Park,” children’s activities and lunch at the Lathrop City Park
11 a.m., American Legion Post 467 barbecue, American Legion Hall
6 to 10 p.m., Food, craft and retail booths open
