JROTC helps American Legion Post 642

Company A of the Smith-Cotton JROTC Tiger Battalion chose to assist George A. Whiteman Memorial Post 642 of the American Legion.
For a community service project, the company worked to get materials and donations to place five 17-foot high flag poles in front of the American Legion post on West Main Street.
The poles placed in April honor the five branches of the U.S. Armed Forces.
