Fleming-Johnson engagement

Gary and Ann Fleming, of Sedalia, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jill Fleming, of St. Louis, to Andrew Johnson, of St. Louis. He is the son of Russ and Kathy Johnson, of Sedalia.

The future bride, a 1999 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School, received a bachelor of journalism degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2003. She received a juris doctor from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville in 2006. She is an associate at Thompson Coburn LLP in St. Louis.

The future groom, a 2000 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School, received a bachelor of arts degree from MU in 2004. He received a juris doctor from Washington University in St. Louis this year. He is an associate at Husch Blackwell Sanders LLP in St. Louis.

An Aug. 9 wedding is planned at Graham Chapel on the Washington University campus in St. Louis.
