Lutheran women to have retreat

The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League of the Sedalia Zone will have its annual retreat on July 12 at Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln.
Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. The theme is “Growing in Christ.” Speakers will include the Rev. Shawn Deterding from Heit’s Point in Lincoln and the Rev. Paul Mehl from St. Paul Lutheran High School in Concordia.
An offering will be taken and divided between Heit’s Point and St. Paul Lutheran High School.
The cost of the meal is $5. The retreat is hosted by the societies from Immanuel Lutheran and Zion Lutheran churches in Lincoln.
The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League is the official women’s organization of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.
