March 18 Police Reports
•Dylan Michael Rex, 23, of Stover, was arrested at 2:14 a.m. Wednesday at West Third Street and South Kentucky Avenue, following a vehicle accident, on a charge of driving while intoxicated, according to Sedalia Police Department reports.
•Gary N. Duffey, 25, of Sunrise Beach, was arrested at 8:38 a.m. Tuesday on U.S. Highway 65 near Muddy Creek Bridge on a charge of driving with a suspended license, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
•Richard E. Brummet, 53, of the 1000 block of South Harrison Avenue, was arrested at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at state Route 127 and Oak Point Road on a charge of driving while intoxicated, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
Attempted Theft
A woman reported Tuesday she saw three girls trying to break into her vehicle parked at Katy Park, according to Sedalia Police Department reports.
Theft
A black and gold BMX bike was reported stolen Sunday at the Oak Tree Manor Mobile Home Village, according to Pettis County Sheriff’s Department reports. The department has received several calls of people looking into vehicles or stealing items from vehicles in the area, and recommends people lock their vehicles and keep valuable items out of view.
Assault
A woman reported she was assaulted Tuesday on the 1300 block of East Boonville Road, according to Pettis County Sheriff’s Department reports.
Shots Fired
Officers investigated Tuesday a report of shots fired at a vehicle in the 400 block of West Morgan Street, according to Sedalia Police Department reports.
Abandoned property
Items from a burglary committed in Sedalia last week were discovered Tuesday in the area of 32nd Street, according to Pettis County Sheriff’s Department reports. The recovered items were turned over to the Sedalia Police Department.
Forgery
Several checks were reported stolen and used Tuesday from the 3200 block of South Kentucky Street, according to Pettis County Sheriff’s Department reports.
