McCall to celebrate 90th birthday

Elsie McCall, of Sedalia, will celebrate her 90th birthday with an open house, held by her daughters and their families, from 2 to 4 p.m. July 12 at the Community Building in Lincoln.

She was born July 3, 1919, in Lyon County, Kan. She was married to Harce F. McCall, who died earlier.

She is a homemaker, who enjoys sewing, gardening, cooking and doing genealogy. She loves spending time with her family.

She has five daughters, Louise Smith, of Shepherd, Texas, Joyce Mahnken and Nancy Vajen, both of Mora, Dorothy Holtzen, of Cole Camp, and Donna Stetzenbach, of Sedalia; 16 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
