Sweet Springs man hurt in Saline crash

A Sweet Springs man had minor injuries after a one-vehicle crash on Thursday in Saline County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Denis D. Schowengerdt, 65, was westbound on Interstate 70 at 5 p.m. when his vehicle traveled off the left side of the road and struck the median guard cable.

Schowengerdt, who refused treatment at the scene, was wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
