Johnson-Blakely engagement

Jerry and Michele Johnson, of Hughesville, announce the engagement of their daughter, Renee Michele Johnson, of La Monte, to Jonathon Brett Howard Blakely, of La Monte. He is the son of John Blakely, of La Monte, and Ellen Carver, of Sedalia.

The future bride, a 2003 graduate of La Monte High School, is attending State Fair Community College. She is an utilization review assistant at Royal Oaks Hospital in Windsor.

The future groom, a 2001 graduate of La Monte High School, received a certificate in heavy machine operations from Linn State Technical College in Jefferson City in 2002. He works at Blakely Farms in La Monte.

A Sept. 18, 2010, wedding is planned at First United Methodist Church in Sedalia.
