Eleanor Mortenson, of Tipton, will celebrate her 88th birthday on May 22.

She was married for 64 years to Harold Mortenson, who died in September 2002.

She has five children, Richard Mortenson and Jerry Mortenson, both of Tipton, Larry Mortenson, of Iowa, Dennis Mortenson, of California, and Sharon Todd, of Sedalia; 16 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
