McGuire-Mosby wedding
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Emily McGuire, of Sedalia, and Aaron Mosby, of Riner, Va., were married at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 7 at The Sanctuary in Kiawah Island, S.C.
The bride is the daughter of Jeff and Shelley McGuire, of Sedalia. The groom is the son of Walter and Brenda Mosby, of Riner.
Dr. Eddie Brown conducted the ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her parents.
Anne Tharp, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. Katherine McGuire, sister of the bride, and Jana Mosby, sister of the groom, were bridesmaids. Audrey Mosby, niece of the groom, was the flower girl.
Walter Mosby, father of the groom, was the best man. Justin Mosby and Bryan Mosby, brothers of the groom, were groomsmen.
A rehearsal dinner was held by the groom’s parents on Aug. 6 at Virginia’s On King restaurant in Charleston, S.C.
The reception was at the Ocean Room in Kiawah Island.
The bride, a 2002 graduate of Hinkson Christian Academy in Moscow, Russia, received a degree in intercultural studies from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Ark., in 2006. She is an operations support coordinator for Raytheon in Moscow.
The groom, a 2000 graduate of Auburn High School in Riner, received a degree in criminal justice from Radford University in Radford, Va., in 2004. He is a program manager at Raytheon in Moscow.
The couple honeymooned in Portugal. They live in Moscow.
