Gloria L. Mueller, Louisville, Ky.
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Gloria Louise McDonald Mueller, 71, of Louisville, Ky., died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at Audubon Hospital in Louisville.
She was born Dec. 22, 1936, in Morganfield, Ky., a daughter of Todd and Edna Moorehead McDonald. On Oct. 26, 1956, she was married to Walter Edward Mueller, who survives in Louisville.
She was raised and educated in Louisville. She was a housewife and mother of nine children. She enjoyed bowling, watching basketball and playing bingo. She loved listening to music, reading and watching western movies. She was a fan of Elvis Presley, John Wayne and Dean Martin.
Also surviving are five daughters, Tanya Haysley and Christina Rich, both of Louisville, Lori Bunner, of Spencer, W.Va., Judith Parker, of New Albany, Ind., and Barbara Mueller, of Sedalia; three sons, Jeffrey Mueller, of the home, Joseph Mueller, of Mount Washington, Ky., and Micheal Mueller, of Louisville; a brother, George McDonald, of Winston Salem, N.C.; a sister, Sally McDonald, of Louisville; 14 grandchildren, Ashleigh Jurkovich, Heather and Jason Haysley, Lacie and Lindsey Hawkins, both of Sedalia, Katelyn and Krista Rich, Devin and Nelson Mueller, Destiny and Mikayla Mueller, Nathaniel, Emily and Ryan Parker; four great-grandchildren; and two nieces.
She was predeceased by a son, Walter Edward Mueller II on Nov. 15, 1992.
Funeral services will be Sunday, under the direction of McFarland-Troutman Proffitt Funeral Home in Mount Washington, Ky.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Heart Association or to any children’s charity.
