Wasson-Muessig engagement

Kenneth and Cynthia Wasson, of Sedalia, announce the engagement of their daughter, Ragean Wasson, of Sedalia, to Rick Muessig. He is the son of Pam and Bill Burkhart and William and Karen Muessig, all of St. Louis.

The future bride, a 2006 graduate of Green Ridge High School, received an associate of science degree in nursing from St. John’s College of Nursing at Southwest Baptist University in Springfield in 2011. She is working toward a bachelor’s degree and plans to graduate in May. She will start graduate school for a master of science degree in nursing leadership in the fall. She is a registered nurse at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

The future groom, a 2005 graduate of DuBourg High School in St. Louis, received a degree in personal financial planning from Missouri State University in Springfield in 2011. He is a store manager at the Student Book Exchange in Springfield.

A June 9 wedding is planned at the Highway Gardens on the Missouri State Fairgrounds.
