Rains-Nelson wedding
Crissy Rains and Randy Nelson, both of Sedalia, were married at 5 p.m. Nov. 11 at First United Methodist Church Celebration Center.
The bride is the daughter of Debbie and John DeGonia, of Sedalia, and the late Joe Bill Rains.
The groom is the son of Mark and Debbie Nelson, of Moberly, and Penny and Tony Dixon, of Sedalia.
The Rev. Jim Downing conducted the ceremony. Eric Poindexter was a vocalist.
The bride was given in marriage by her stepfather.
Lindsey Birnie was the maid of honor. Madison Nelson, daughter of the groom, and Lainey Hughes were the flower girls. Kayla Leach and Kelsey Weiss, daughters of the bride, were candlelighters and ring bearers.
Mark Nelson was the best man. Eric Poindexter was an usher.
The reception was at the Elks Lodge.
The bride, a 1998 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School, is a dog groomer at The Dog’s House in Sedalia.
The groom, a 2000 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School, works at Gardner Denver.
The couple honeymooned in Branson. They live in Sedalia.
