Schlotzhauer-Skaggs engagement

Randy and Candy Schlotzhauer, of Pilot Grove, announce the engagement of their daughter, Brandy Schlotzhauer, of Pilot Grove, to Derek Skaggs, of Tipton. He is the son of Danny and Debby Skaggs, of Harrisburg.

The future bride, a 2001 graduate of Pilot Grove High School, received a bachelor of science degree in speech and language pathology from Central Missouri State University in 2005. She received a master of science degree in speech language pathology from CMSU in 2006. She is a speech and language pathologist for RehabCare. She works at Katy Manor Nursing Home in Pilot Grove and at the Moniteau Care Center in California, Mo.

The future groom, a 2001 graduate of Harrisburg High School, received a bachelor of science degree in physical education from Central Methodist University in Fayette in 2005. He is the head baseball coach, varsity girls’ basketball coach and assistant volleyball coach for the Tipton school district.

An Aug. 2 wedding is planned at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pilot Grove.
