Sept. 25 Police Reports
Comments 0 | Recommend 0•Russell J. Smithers, 45, of Slater, was charged at 10:47 p.m. Wednesday with driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving, no insurance and failure to wear a seat belt, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol. He was released from Saline County Jail on $2,500 bond.
•Leah K. Archambault, 19, of the 600 block of West 16th Street, was arrested at 1:57 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of South Ohio Avenue on charges of forgery and burglary, according to Sedalia Police Department reports. She was in Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold pending the filing of charges.
•Celso Solis-Benitinoz, 26, of the 200 block of South Quincy Avenue, was arrested about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday on South State Fair Boulevard on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident, identity theft and driving without a license, according to Sedalia Police Department reports. He was booked and released from the Pettis County Jail.
Thefts
•Marsha Lefevers, of Mora, reported Wednesday about $500 was stolen from her purse while she was in the 400 block of North Moniteau Avenue, according to Sedalia Police Department reports.
•Steven Thomas, of 1523 E. Ninth St., reported Thursday his cell phone was stolen from his bathroom, according to Sedalia Police Department reports.
