Traffic stop leads to 3 arrests, 41 pounds of pot
A traffic stop on Interstate 70 led to the discovery of 41 pounds of marijuana and the arrest of three men, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
On Tuesday, a Missouri state trooper stopped a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer for a traffic violation on eastbound Interstate 70 near the 63-mile marker in Saline County. During a search of the vehicle, the trooper found 41 pounds of marijuana inside luggage located in the vehicle’s cargo area, the highway patrol reported.
Gary R. Stojakovic, 31, of Monroeville, Pa.; Jamelle R. Jones, 25, of Vossburg, Miss.; and Colin M. Hennen, 28, of Pittsburgh, Pa., were arrested for second degree drug trafficking. They were transported to the Lafayette County Jail.
