McCain fought in war while Obama took drugs
Comments 0 | Recommend 0We all know that this coming presidential election is extremely
important. The two main presidential candidates are vastly different
and choosing between the two requires sharp examination. Here is a
tiny morsel of food for thought from the conservative point of view. I
could write a million of these letters, but it still wouldn’t be
nearly enough to offset the extreme liberal slant of today’s media.
We all know of McCain’s POW story and his great service to America,
but do we fully grasp the whole contrast between him and Obama?
McCain spent his early years fighting for our country’s freedom and as he says “giving his life to a greater purpose.” Obama confesses that he
spent his early years using hard drugs while in college and forming
relationships with shady people, such as terrorist William Ayers. The
worst part about it all? Obama either dances around the truth (his
relationship with Jeremiah Wright) or he leaves these relationships
unexplained (as with Ayers).
McCain is anti-death and is an outspoken and enthusiastic pro-life
supporter. But when it comes to Obama, he says that making the
decision regarding the right to life for the unborn is above his pay
grade. I guess because “above my pay grade” isn’t on his voting card
he just votes “yes” instead.
McCain talks seriously about tax cuts for the American people. The
last thing we can afford to do is give more money to taxes — this we
know. How then does Obama plan to facilitate a universal health care
system in America that would cost an estimated $69 billion per year,
not including costs associated with covering out-of-pocket expenses
for the uninsured? (information found on www.amsa.org)
This is just an extremely small glimpse of the differences between
these two candidates. Don’t let the media fool you — Obama should not
be our next president. His unknowns are too scary. Keep your eyes and
ears open. Study the facts and don’t let MSNBC, CNN, Fox News, John
Stewart or Stephen Colbert decide your vote for you.
