Moreland assisted an elderly woman in need of medical attention after seeing her fall at Lee's Summit West High School Dec. 3, 2011. Moreland responded to the situation, carried her to a safe location and administered first aid until medical personnel arrived at the scene. Moreland's actions reflect credit upon himself and MO-20052, Knob Noster High School Junior ROTC. Moreland is the son of Katrina and (right) Senior Master Sgt. Timothy Moreland, 509th Maintenance Squadron. Moreland was presented the award by (left) Capt. Paul Dorsey, MO-20052's Senior Aerospace Science Instructor.
