Sackett anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Sackett, of Sedalia, will observe their 40th wedding anniversary Sunday.

Linda L. Goin and Clarence A. Sackett were married Oct. 5, 1968, at St. John Vianney Church in Rancho Cordova, Calif., by the Rev. McSweeney.

Emerald Preston was the maid of honor and Tom Preston was a groomsman.

Mr. and Mrs. Sackett lived in California most of their life. They visited Linda’s sister, Toni Hickman, in 2003 and loved Missouri so much, they moved to Sedalia.

They have three children, Mike Sackett and Paula Keith, both of Sedalia, and Christopher Sackett, of Paragould, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; and five adopted grandchildren.
