Schlesselman-Jackson wedding

Sara Schlesselman and Jake Jackson, both of Cole Camp, were married at 6 p.m. Sept. 19 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Cole Camp.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Rhonda Schlesselman, of Cole Camp. The groom is the son of Sheryl Burns and David and June Jackson, all of Stover.

The Rev. Jody Rice conducted the ceremony. Jeanette VonHolten was the pianist. Alicia Cole and Bethany Cole were vocalists.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Tiffinay Nash, sister of the groom, was the matron of honor. Stephanie Goosen was the maid of honor. Ahfton Wells and Kayla Viebrock were bridesmaids. Jenna Nash and Shelby Nash, nieces of the groom, were flower girls. Hannah Schlesselman, cousin of the bride, was a candlelighter.

Justin Jackson, brother of the groom, was the best man. Jason Nash, brother-in-law of the groom, Danny Meyer and John Davis were groomsmen.

Ryan Schlesselman and Randy Schlesselman, brothers of the bride, Chad Schlesselman, cousin of the bride, and Joshua Jackson, brother of the groom, were ushers.

A rehearsal dinner was held by the bride’s parents on Sept. 18 in the church basement. The reception was at the Jaycees Garden in Cole Camp.

The bride, a 2005 graduate of Cole Camp High School, attended Cox College of Nursing in Springfield from 2005 to 2007. She received practical nursing certification from the Eldon Career Center in 2008. She is a licensed practical nurse at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center.

The groom, a 2003 graduate of Cole Camp High School, received certification in heavy equipment operations from Linn State Technical College in 2004. He is a machine operator for U.P. Pipeline Services.

The couple honeymooned in Colorado Springs, Colo. They live in Cole Camp.
