Phillips selected for membership
Delta Epsilon Iota Academic Honor Society has selected Katy A. Phillips for membership in the local chapter at hte University of Central Missouri. The society recognizes academic excellence in all fields of study.
Members must have a minimum of 30 semester hours, while maintaining a 3.3 grade point average or be in the top 15 percent of their class.
Phillips is a 2005 graduate of Stover High School. She is working toward a bachelor of science degree in middle school education, with an emphasis in mathematics. She is the daughter of Jim Phillips and Vi Dale.
She is student teaching at Delta Woods Middle School in the Blue Springs School District.
