Hout-Alumbaugh engagement

Rusty and Sherry Hout, of Cole Camp, announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Jo Hout, of Lake Tapawingo, to Ryan Alumbaugh. He is the son of Jerry and Reva Alumbaugh, of Lake Tapawingo, and Keri Matney, of Blue Springs.


The future bride, a 2000 graduate of Cole Camp High School, received a degree in elementary education from Westminster College in Fulton in 2004. She is a sixth-grade science teacher and volleyball coach in the Lone Jack School District.


The future groom, a 1994 graduate of Blue Springs High School, attended Central Missouri State University. He is a concrete labor foreman for George Shaw Construction in Kansas City.


A June 14 wedding is planned at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cole Camp.
