The Sedalia Sears Hometown Store presented the Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri with a check for $453.99 on Friday. The donation is a direct result of the customer support shown during the Save & Give Event held Sept. 19, which allowed Sears Hometown stores across the country to partner with local charities and support their communities by donating 3 percent of net sales proceeds for that day to a local charitable organization.
