Sedalia man hurt in Moniteau County crash

A Sedalia man was injured in a single-vehicle accident in Moniteau County on Friday.
Robert J. Wilkie, 79, was taken by ambulance to St. Mary’s Hospital in Blue Springs.
The accident occurred at 2:45 p.m. as Wilkie was westbound on U.S. Highway 50 east of Mockingbird Road.
Wilkie’s vehicle went off the left side of the road, came back to the roadway and overturned, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
Wilkie was wearing a seat belt, the report states.
