Bettie L. Jones, Kalispell, Mont.
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Bettie Lucille Gamber Jones, 76, of Kalispell, Mont., died Monday, May 12, 2008, at her home.
She was born June 3, 1931, at Bothwell Hospital in Sedalia, the first child of Charles W. and Della Lucille Gamber. In 1951, she was married to Alva Eslie Lemens. She later was married to Allan Lee Jones, who survives of the home.
She was a 1949 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School. She was a former president of the PTA at Washington School. She was a member of the Women of the Moose in Sedalia. She enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling and spending time in the mountains.
Also surviving are three sons, Stephen Eslie Lemens, and his wife, Pat, of Sunrise Beach, Gary Duane Lemens, of Sedalia, and Ronald Glenn Lemens, and his wife, Codie, of Versailles; two brothers, Charles William Gamber, of Lawson, and David Gamber, of Broomfield, Colo.; three sisters, Sue Roxstrom, of Maple Valley, Wash., Adaline Vannoy, of Sedalia, and Laura Moon, of Hughesville; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Her body was cremated and her cremains will be returned to Sedalia. A private celebration of life will be held by her family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the charity of the donor’s choice.
