Estate tax seminar set in Columbia

The Salvation Army will host a free seminar featuring Roy Adams, an internationally known expert on estate and tax planning issues.

The seminar will be broadcast live from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 23 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Columbia.

Topics for the seminar will include ethics, preparing for income tax increases and up-to-date case law affecting estate planning, according to a news release from the Salvation Army.

A light breakfast, lunch and refreshments will be provided free of charge and registration is required.
