Smithton teen hurt in Pettis crash

A Smithton teenager was hurt in a two-vehicle crash on Friday in Pettis County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Pontiac driven by Maria L. Bunch, 20, of Sedalia, was northbound on U.S. Highway 50 near Route TT when it pulled into the path of an eastbound 2000 Lincoln driven by Crystal G. Figueroa, 36, of Smithton.

Figueroa’s passenger, Quinesha R. Selvey, 15, of Smithton, had minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene. She was wearing a seat belt, the report said.
