Grimpo-Southard wedding

The bride is the daughter of Alan and Elizabeth Grimpo and granddaughter of Sarah West and Geneva Grimpo, all of Carrollton. The groom is the son of Vanita Southard, of Sedalia, and grandson of Paul and Juanita Southard, of Smithton.
The Rev. Eric Swyers conducted the ceremony. The Rev. Ken Tatkenhorst played the organ and the Kansas City Orchestra Brass Quintet, featuring Chris Heil, performed the music.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Sacha Kipping was the maid of honor. Krista Phillips, Amanda Scott and Kristin Stafford were bridesmaids. Katy Scott was a junior bridesmaid. Riley Gipson and Madisyn Sprinkle were flower girls. Morgan Southard was a candlelighter.
Ryan Nulsen was the best man. Jonathan Southard, Brian Nulsen and Tim Ramey were groomsmen. Zak Javurek was the junior groomsman. Dillon Southard, Nik Javurek and Ethan West were ring bearers. Christopher Grimpo, Kyle Grimpo and Jacob Kreisler were ushers.
A rehearsal dinner was held by the groom’s mother on June 26 at the church. The reception was at the Elks Lodge.
The bride, a 2006 graduate of Carrollton High School, received an associate of applied science degree in radiologic technology from State Fair Community College in 2009. She works at Carroll House in Carrollton.
The groom, a 2005 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School, graduated from the University of Central Missouri’s National Police Institute in 2008. He is a sheriff’s deputy for the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department in Carrollton.
The couple honeymooned in Jamaica. They live in Carrollton.
