Pitts-Sowell engagement

Retired Army Staff Sgt. James and Rebecca Kreisel Pitts, of Vine Grove, Ky., announce the engagement of their daughter, Ryanne Nicole Pitts, of Vine Grove, to Ian James Sowell, of Rineyville, Ky.

He is the son of Kim Sowell, of Rineyville, and the late Robert Sowell.

The future bride is the granddaughter of Donna Sue and Michael E. Franklin, of Sedalia.

The future bride, a 2008 graduate of North Hardin High School in Radcliff, Ky., is a sales merchandiser for Dixon Marketing Inc. in Fort Knox, Ky.

The future groom, a 2007 graduate of North Hardin High School, is a sales associate at Sam’s Club in Elizabethtown, Ky.

A June 27 wedding is planned at Vine Grove Community Center.
