Lowry City man killed in crash
A Lowry City man died Thursday morning after a crash near a bridge in Henry County sent his vehicle down a rocky embankment into a creek.
Irving M. Foreman, 19, was pronounced dead at 5:19 a.m. by Henry County Deputy Coroner Damon Parsons, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
Amy B. Taylor, 47, of Harrisonville, suffered minor injuries in the accident and was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.
The two drivers collided while traveling south on state Route 7 near Big Creek Overflow bridge, east of Hartwell. Both vehicles traveled off the left side of the road and down an embankment between two bridges, reports said.
Foreman’s vehicle went airborne and landed upside down in the creek. Foreman was not wearing a seat belt, the Highway Patrol reported.
