Boil order lifted

The precautionary boil order for customers of the Public Water Supply District No. 1 of Pettis, Johnson and Saline counties has been lifted.
The boil order was issued Saturday as a precaution after construction workers broke a water main that served Pettis County residents in the district. About 60 customers were affected.
Residents affected include those in Dresden and rural Sedalia. The boil order boundaries are west of Sedalia to Chevalier Road, north of state Route Y and south of U.S. 50.
The boil order was lifted Wednesday.
